TRAFFIC STOPS; SIMULATOR BASED SHOOTING DECISIONS
Students will learn the appropriate use of force through realistic, real-life scenarios. Utilizing the TI Training: Use of Force Training Simulator. The training simulator is a high definition video system on three screens, combined with high-tech weapon simulation. The TI Simulator will cause the student to become immersed into the scene which will increase heart rate, breathing and emotional level as you learn how to properly deal with potentially dangerous situations. Simulations can include highly charged/graphic scenarios and potentially offensive language. Training room is large enough to use a patrol vehicle inside.
Classroom instruction on Federal/State Use of Deadly Force court rulings, mental/physical preparation.
Required information for Attendees: TI Simulator utilizes a Glock 22 handgun, AR-15 rifle, flashlight, taser, OC spray all with IR laser modifications and CO2 for felt recoil. Students should bring the gear they would normally carry, including their individual Handgun, a holster and belt.
Class limited to max 15 students.
